Come out for a day of family fun to celebrate The Garden of Giving and other agriculture-related organizations! This free Family Fun Day will be held on the grounds of Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church. The event is the Eagle Scout service project of August Randazzo, of Boy Scout Troop 109, in Saylorsburg.
Activities include pony rides, face painting, baby chicks, a ladybug release, healthy snack samples, sunflower seed planting, Farmer for a Day, soil and composting info, and antique farm equipment.
Exhibitors are Monroe County Master Gardeners, Monroe County 4-H, Monroe County Conservation District, Northampton-Monroe Farm Bureau, Pocono Olde Tyme Farm Equipment, West End Fair and Museum, Shoprite, Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority, Polk Township Historical Society and Chestnuthill Township Historical Society.
There will be a special appearance by Lindsey Edwards, 2016 West End Fair Queen, and Chef Mike Abate from Pocono Supper Club will present a farm-to-table cooking demonstration at 1 pm.
The Garden of Giving will be selling refreshments and t-shirts during the event.
Tammy Graeber will be speaking at the Pocono Garden Club Meeting.
Meeting Location: The Monroe County Conservation District, 8050 Running Valley Rd., Stroudsburg
We will be looking for volunteers throughout the season, from April until around September or October: Tuesday through Saturday, from 9:30am until 12:30pm
Tammy Graeber will be speaking at the Effort United Methodist Church at both the 8:30 am and 11:00 am services.

- preparing and serving lunch.

- lunch provisions (deliver no later than 10:30 am).
